Answer:If your account has been compromised by another player, you will need to go through these steps to recover the account. First you will need to contact our Account, Billing and Technical Support department to verify that you own the account. When you call to verify ownership, they will request several things from you. The most important thing they will ask is the last four digits of a credit card on the account. In many cases you may be required to provide the original credit-card used. Other helpful information you can use:
[list][*]CD Keys of products on the account[*]Names and Billing Addresses of credit cards on the account[*]Character Names[*]Personal information on the account, such as a zip code, e-mail address, etc.[/list]The most important thing you need is those last four digits of a credit-card on the account. The rest of the information, by itself, will most likely not get you the account reopened. These accounts are suspended or banned until ownership is proven. Upon verifying ownership, your account will be reopened by a Tier 2 Technical Support Representative.
Now that the account is open, you may log in and check on character restorations. If you have no characters on logging in, create a new Level 1. Regardless of what character you are on, please submit a petition with as much information about your situation as possible. In-Game support will need to know the names of characters lost where applicable. For characters that were not deleted, any items or coin lost should be reported. Each game will have varying policies from this point; some games may not be able to recover characters for you at all. Others may have a time limit for restoration before the database purges it. The best thing to do is petition as soon as possible to find out what can be done.
